Proseminar Morphology and Word Formation

This seminar deals with the structures and processes of English word formation. Basic concepts of English morphology will be introduced, the relation of word to sentence structure will be investigated, the main types of word formation will be distinguished, and the processes of creating new words will be studied in detail.
