The Transnational Project is carried out by a group of students from at least two different countries. Students take the following steps in working at the transnational project:
1. They find a group of students with different nationalities who would like to work together.
2. The group gives a proposal to the chair of their study course which includes information about the project plan, the background, the aim of the project, the way the group wants to work, the intended results and value of the project and about its chances for realisation.
3. The group works on the topic and realises the project as well as possible.
4. The group writes a report on their work in which they reflect their experience during the project based on theoretical thinking regarding the topic of their project as well as the process of their (international) collaboration.
The moodle course supports the Transnational Project work with:
-provision of basic knowledge about project management in an international context
-support in getting in touch with international students and finding a working group
-provision of possibilities for international communication
-support during the project process
The seminar will end with a presentation of the transnational projects on an international meeting with European experts and students of adult education on Febuary 5th – 7th 2010 in Essen.
Please be aware that joining a Transnational Project requires commitment to the task as well as to your fellow students.
The Transnational Project provides the unique opportunity to gain practical project experience in an international context. Students of all study programmes are invited to join!
