Vorlesung Lectures on EMU and Labor Economics

Some general announcements: • Students who are not accepted for the seminar parts of EMU and Labor Economics can obtain 6 Credits if they participate at the lecture part of -Economic and Monetary Union (EMU)- held by Philipp Kirchner and Benjamin Schwanebeck and the lecture part of -Labor Economics- held by Prof. Holger Bonin as well.   • Participating in both lecture parts (EMU and Labor Economics) enables you to obtain 6 CP by passing the exams.   • You can either receive 6 CP or none, there is no in-between case of 3 CP.     • The course -Economics and Monetary Union (EMU)- is held every Thursday and starts on 27th October. Lectures will take place on: Oct 27, Nov 3, Nov 10, Nov 17, Nov 24, Dec 1, Dec 8. Please check the HIS course -Economics and Monetary Union (EMU)- for more information.   • The course -Labor Economics- is held (roughly) every Wednesday and starts on 26th October. Lectures will take place on: Oct 26, Nov 2, Nov 9, Nov 16, Nov 30, Dec 7, Jan 11 & Jan 18. Please check the HIS course -Labor Economics- for more information.   The exam: • The EMU exam is at 15th December. • Please make sure to register for the exam asap and not later than 5 days in advance. The time frame for registrations is open by now  and closes 5 days before the exam. • If you register for the EMU exam you are automatically registered for the Labor Economics exam. The Labor Economics exam will take place at 1st February. • Consider that registration is a binding condition to write the exams, meaning that no registration in time > no exam > no credits. Leistungsnachweis Both lecture parts close with an exam and you have to pass in total to obtain 6 CP. FB 07 Institut für Volkswirtschaftslehre Both lecture parts close with an exam and you have to pass in total to obtain 6 CP.
