Workshop Toward Sustainable Communities Solutions for Citizens and Their Governments Green City Urban Planning

Mark Roseland is Director of the Centre for Sustainable Community Development at Simon Fraser University and Professor of Planning in SFU's School of Resource and Environmental Management. He lectures internationally, advises communities and governments on sustainable development policy and planning, and has been cited as one of Canada's leading public intellectuals. His book Toward Sustainable Communities has been called -the most significant book of its kind- (ICLEI) and -a treasure for policymakers, planners, thought leaders and anyone working to shape the future of our communities- (Portland Sustainability Institute). Join us for this inspiring workshop. You will leave with new ideas and with new ways to bring those ideas into practice.
