Jochen Hippler Entwicklungsprobleme und Integrationspolitik in unterschiedlichen Regionen - am Beispiel Pakistan Das Entwicklungsland Pakistan liegt zwischen Afghanistan und Indien. Diese regionale Lage bedingt zahlreiche außenpolitische Probleme (Auswirkungen des Afghanistankrieges auf Pakistan, wiederholte militärische Konfrontationen mit Indien), die auf die entwicklungspolitischen Probleme des Landes zurückwirken. Zu diesen gehören die schwachen Governance-Strukturen, nachlassendes Wirtschaftswachstum, eine schwache Infrastruktur, eine einschneidende Energiekrise, gesellschaftliche Fragmentierung und ein weiterhin hohes Gewaltniveau. Das Seminar soll den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern grundlegende landeskundliche Kenntnisse verschaffen und auf dieser Grundlage in den Zusammenhang von politischer Gewalt, Governance, und Entwicklung einführen. Es endet mit einer Reflexion der deutschen Entwicklungspolitik gegenüber Pakistan.
