Vorlesung Economic Effects of the Business Environment Introduction to European Law

Wählbar für Modul IMM / CIM http://www.wirtschaft.uni-kassel.de/Marketing/IMM Prof. Dr. Voigt: -Economic Effects of Business Environment- Investment decisions (including foreign direct investment decisions) do not only depend on the size of the market, the buying power of potential customers, and the production countries of a specific location, but also on a host of factors that are often called -the business environment-. In this course, we will discuss the relevant basics such as - the stability and security of property rights, - the efficiency and effectiveness of regulation and taxation and - the availability of developed financial markets. The economic effects of differences in these determinants will be discussed drawing on cross-country studies. The entire course will be taught in English. Prof. Dr. v. In addition there are new regulations in respect of product standards, consumer protection, company law, regional policy, intellectual property rights, mergers regulation, public enterprise competition, and e-commerce law.
