Excursion 2015 Canterbury

This year’s excursion will take us to the ancient city of Canterbury in the southern English county of Kent. Accommodation will be in houses belonging to the University of Kent, where everyone will have their own ensuite room (with bathroom/WC). The houses are self-catering, with 5 or 6 people sharing one kitchen. We’ll be travelling by coach and ferry from Siegen to Calais, then from Dover to Canterbury. There will be some organised day trips together and the opportunity to go to London for a day. The price of the excursion is 400 euros, which covers the travelling and accommodation costs between Siegen and Canterbury, as well as some day trips but not food. The money can be transferred in two instalments of 200 euros each in April and June. At the beginning of the summer semester, we’ll make a Moodle site to keep you informed about the organisation of the excursion. Please register on LSF first. Due to the limited number of seats on the coach, the excursion is strictly limited to 50 places (including staff). We will contact you at the end of March/beginning of April to let you know if you have received a place. If you do not receive a place immediately, you will be added to the waiting list and will still have a chance to join the excursion if someone on the main list drops out.
